About the Company

Accelerated Marketing formed in 1986 to provide retail telemarketing services to sales, promotion and marketing departments of major recording companies. The initial focus of the organization's service was to provide weekly reports detailing stock information relating to single sales.

The company's services have included instituting national retail promotional campaigns canvassing Top 40, Jazz, Urban, Album Rock and Music Video formats. The PowerPak division provides a complete merchandising fulfillment center offering full-scale mail facilities for "point-of-purchase" programs. 

For the last 20 years, ACM has provided a nationwide network of 300,000 field reps to promote, merchandise and perform inventory audits for entertainment companies.  We were nominated "Best Small Related Products & Services" in 2000 and 2001 by NARM.

ACM's recent projects have included such musical artists as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Georgia Florida Line, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and J Cole.

President, Rip Pelley

A graduate of the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Rip Pelley's career in the marketing of entertainment products spans three decades. During a nine year tenure with Elektra/Asylum Records, he served as Director of Artist Development as well as, Director, Promotion Field Operations. His responsibilities included tour marketing and radio promotion campaigns for such recording artists as The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Queen, The Cars, Traffic, Carly Simon, Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell.

Throughout the early eighties, he formed a marketing company that provided entertainment and media sponsorship programs for Fortune 500 companies. He designed programs for clients Anheuser-Busch and Toto, Bausch & Lomb and Don Henley, Kodak, and Nabisco Brands with Rod Stewart. Additionally, he mounted broadcast campaigns for such films as Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon, Every Which Way But Loose, Urban Cowboy, FM and Cobra.  In 1986, Rip co-founded Accelerated Marketing.  

 

The Inventory/Merchandising Program

Data Processing

Field Reports and Direct Marketing Programs

Immediate compilation of data into a readable Excel summary report allows for instantaneous implementation and correction of field issues. While you could use our field merchandisers to gather project information, you could also consider using our service as a clearinghouse to process many of your own field staff reports.

This frees clerical staff from hours of report taking that generally leaves data unprocessed, while faxes can create hundreds of pages of information that would take days to interpret or process.
